WMO Core Profile definitionThe documentation of the WMO Core Profile is in two parts:
- Part 1 – Conformance Requirements provides the basic definition of the Core Profile
- Part 2 – Abstract Test Suite, Data Dictionary and Code Lists describes the constraints on how metadata may be written and defines the definitions of terms used within the metadata

Requests for changes to the WMO Core Profile should be proposed to the WMO secretariat by National Focal Points for WIS Metadata using an online form.
